Bond is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Supporter Care Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering excellent customer care to our donors and supporters. With a salary range of £28,000 to £32,000 per year, this full-time position is based in London SE1 and offers a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming communications, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Develop and implement thank you and welcome processes for all supporters, fostering strong relationships.
- Collaborate with the Individual Giving Manager to manage donation thank-yous, appeals, and fundraising products.
- Continuously improve our gift processing system to ensure efficient and accurate handling of donations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on the Raiser's Edge CRM system, providing reliable information for fundraising and communication activities.
- Attend training courses to stay updated on relevant legislation, policies, and best practices for data maintenance.
- Train colleagues on using Raiser's Edge when required.
- Undertake additional duties as agreed upon with the line-manager, contributing to the implementation of the fundraising strategy.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Supporter Care (20%): Handle inquiries, respond to correspondence, and maintain supporter satisfaction levels.
- Thank You and Welcoming (15%): Implement a welcome process for new supporters and thank all fundraising donations made.
- Donations Processing (25%): Efficiently process donations, allocate funds, and reconcile donation income.
- Raiser's Edge and Data Policy (40%): Update and maintain supporter records, generate reports, and provide training on Raiser's Edge.
To successfully fulfill this role, you should have experience in a customer care or supporter care environment. Proficiency in using CRM databases, particularly Raiser's Edge, for data input, reporting, and producing data lists is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
