Working within the People Operations function as part of the Advice and Guidance team you will be responsible for providing expertise across the whole of CQC in relation to case management e.g. disciplinaries, absence reviews, grievances and capabilities alongside response to complex query management in relation to our people policies and procedures.

**What you will bring**

As an HR professional you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels of the organisation. You will understand the importance of good teamwork. With a background and recent experience in working with people management policies and procedures, employment legislation and best practice you will be able to successfully manage casework in an advisory capacity. Knowledge and experience of implementing reasonable adjustments would also be beneficial.***

**Accountabilities**:

- Accountable for the delivery of appropriate first line query management and support across a range of people related areas including but not limited to for example policies and procedures, and case management.
- Develops and operates local People strategies and People operational plans in support of the overall people strategy.
- Works with and deputises for the Senior Advisor to effectively manage the work priorities of the team, linking in with business areas for feedback and to understand their needs where required. Supports and manages projects relating to the work of the team, which can include new ways of working or additional functions to ensure they translate across into business as usual, measuring successful integration and amending where required.
- Forecast and plan future requirements to ensure service delivery meets defined service levels, standards and priorities.
- Ensuring activity is accurately recorded to provide meaningful data to manage work volumes and prioritise activity.
- Case Management - undertake the management of less complex discipline, grievance, sickness absence and capability cases, working closely with the relevant line managers.
