**THE ROLE**
- We are looking to recruit the Head of Project and Change position to own and deliver against numerous initiatives to evolve and drive forward our business. The Head of Project and Change will own the delivery of all key technology based projects alongside supporting business driven programs to ensure all achieve the same high standard of delivery. This will be done through supporting the AARC/NODL business teams with prioritisation, requirement gathering, testing, training and implementation (of processes) and aftercare / hyper care support. Initially the focus will be on the delivery of our in-flight ERP, Ecom and Retail platform upgrade. Once this has completed there will be considerable focus on service optimisation, businesses improvement and operational efficiencies. This role will be a lynchpin position in the on-going success of the business and its future growth.
- The business will require support in identifying challenges, designing solutions and implementing successful change, with adoption and cost benefit being primary success measures.
- Scope, cost, timelines and resource availability / capacity will all need to be monitored and managed in conjunction with business strategy and supporting departments. All of these elements will need to be managed in the context of the delivery of the Transformation Roadmap, alongside ongoing requests for change driven by business initiatives, trading calendar events, regulatory and compliance requirements and impacts from ongoing trading and / or general economic conditions. This will be a highly challenging, and hands-on role ideally suited to someone who has lived and breathed transformation delivery first-hand, whether as a Project Manager or Project Manager.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The Head of Project and Change will be responsible for the following teams and will manage them accordingly to achieve the goals of the project.
- Project Managers to manage individual projects that make up the wider program.
- Business Analysts to work with the business to help understand how the new tools will work and how business process will need to change to allow for successful implementation.
- The Head of Project and Change will be able to evidence the following:

- Lead and support the Unified Commerce Steering Group in the delivery of the Transformation Roadmap and management of ongoing requests for change
- Create and provide regular and effective management reporting to ensure adherence to established Governance for example Steering Committees, Financial Review Boards and Programme Delivery Boards
- Create a Transformation Portfolio plan (fully resourced and levelled), alongside a summary Plan on a Page (POAP)
- Effective management of delivery to scope, time and budget ensuring controls are in place to proactively manage constraints, dependencies, risks, issues and change.
- Clear understanding of the pivotal role that technology will play in retail with regard to reach across the enterprise and impact on Customer engagement, conversion and retention.
- Solid technical background with an understanding of the software development lifecycle including elements of infrastructure. Able to challenge effectively on technical elements and translate information and concepts easily to non-technical individuals / teams.
- Able to drive delivery using a variety of methodologies with an expectation of strong experience with Agile methods / ways of working and use of Agile toolsets such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Delivery-focussed individual adept at building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across Business and IT teams including third party service providers and implementation partners.
- Creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation and provide clear and effective escalation to senior management / stakeholders as required in line with standard governance.
- Able to identify and manage business change impacts in conjunction with Ted’s Business Change Manager and operational team Champions / SME’s.

- Excellent communication skills - able to challenge effectively, use negotiating and influencing skills and manage conflict to achieve positive outcomes. Able to tailor messages appropriately based on audience is essential (end user to technical analyst to C-suite)
