**Area Supervisor**

**Who we are looking for**:
ServiceMaster Clean Dudley is looking for an Area Supervisor in the Dudley, Stourbridge and Wolverhampton, West Midlands area. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a small team of area cleaners throughout the assigned territory. The Area Supervisor will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance to the area’s cleaners, ensuring that all cleaners are aware of the policies and procedures in place, and communicating any changes that need to be made.

This role will involve visiting sites for quality control and monitoring ensuring your cleaning contracts are covered for absence and holidays

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Manage and train new area supervisors
- Work with the Area Manager to ensure that all supervisees are following COVID-19 protocols
- Conduct regular supervisees’ background checks and health assessments
- Track and report on any issues or concerns that arise from the supervisor team (e.g. safety issues, drug use, etc.)
- Submit weekly reports on supervisees’ activities (including issues/concerns, training needs, etc.)
- Communicate with management about any supervisory concerns or issues that need addressing.
- Manage any employee turnover within the assigned area (e.g. performance reviews, training/support, etc

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in supervision or other related fields (1 year minimum)
- Ability to build rapport with supervisees and maintain a positive work environment is a must
- Must have flexibility in schedule to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to travel as needed to support outside services providers in areas with high COVID-19 risk. Travel is not required but preferred.

All business miles are paid at 33p per mile

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
