A new, exciting opportunity in a popular Primary school in Selhurst has arisen for a Year 6 teacher. This is a 2 form entry Primary school that most recently has been graded 'Good' overall by OFSTED. The Year 6 teacher should be an experienced teacher butmust be passionate about education and confident in their delivery of the curriculum. The SLT are hopeful to welcome a teacher with an innovative and child-centred approach to teaching.

This is a permanent, full-time role for the Year 6 Teacher beginning in April 2023. The Primary school offers ample support and additionally offers abundant CPD opportunities. The Primary school has a fantastic reputation within the borough and has a well-establishedSenior Leadership Team.

**Expectations of the teacher**

The Primary school are looking for a dedicated and talented Year 6 Teacher who has an innovative, forward thinking teaching style. The Year 6 Teacher will be expected to ensure that all children are engaged and enthusiastic about their learning. You arealso expected to inspire the children alongside managing their behaviour in and out of the classroom.

**Responsibilities of the teacher**

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be teaching a vibrant, energetic group of children amounting to a 26 class total. Your responsibilities in this Primary teacher role will include keeping your lessons current and relevant, preparing the students for their importantfinal year in Primary school. The teacher will be required to commit to the school and their class with effective planning and preparation for lessons and activities.

The Primary school would like to invite an experienced teacher to apply, and furthermore deliver a lesson observation and interview at a mutually convenient date.
