**Tempest Education** is recruiting a motivated **KS2** teacher to take on a **Year 6**class in the London Borough of **Croydon**. This is a full-time classroom teaching position that starts in **April 2023** and will be for the academic year. If all goes well after this initial term, then it’s highly likely that the position will become **permanent.**
- UK QTS
- Confidence within their knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- An engaging teaching style
- High standards of teaching and learning
- Confident in behaviour management

About the Role
- Year 6 class
- April 2023 start
- UK based experience is preferred although not essential.
- Contracted till the end of the academic year, with the potential to be offered a permanent position.
- £170-£250 (ECT welcome to apply)

About the School
- This is a friendly and modern primary school with extensively resourced outside areas
- Ofsted has reported that this is a GOOD school with OUTSTANDING safety practices.
- The school offer wrap around care 07:30am until 6:15pm
- The school hours are from 8:30 -3:15

The successful Primary Teacher will have
- Hold a PGCE, Bachelor or Education or a qualification recognised as equivalent within the UK.
- Good understanding of the UK national curriculum
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Passport or Visa)
- Recent classroom-based references.
- Hold a valid DBS (Overseas police check if necessary)
