**The impact you’ll make**
First impressions are everything. And you’ll set the tone for every guest’s stay. When a guest walks into our Hotel - imagine that first look around they take, followed by that sigh of relief because they’ve arrived to their home away from home, be it for a night or a week, and it’s perfect. Everything is working just the way it should.
**What you’ll do**
- You will be responsible for carrying out any repair or rectifying any maintenance issues throughout the hotel as and when they arise
- You will respond to and attend to guest repair requests
- You will perform preventative maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment
- You will be an excellent communicator and build excellent relationships with departments across the hotel
- Report on any new or developing engineering works that need to be addressed to the Engineering Manager
- Assist with maintaining the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc
- Assist with energy saving and green initiatives within the hotel
- Assist with inventory organisation and ordering
**What we’re looking for**

- Experience in a similar role
- A plumbing or electrical qualification is an advantage but not compulsory
