This is a truly exciting opportunity to join the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance as the Head of FP&A at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

The V&A will be opening a new venue annually for the next 3 years. During this unprecedented period of growth financial decision making will be critical. The Head of FP&A is a new role, and will report to the Deputy Finance Director and attend Trustee FinanceCommittee meetings. You will lead a high performing team of 6 (a Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner, a Commercial Finance Business Partner, x2 Finance Business Partners, a Project Accountant, and a Finance Analyst) to provide high-quality service anddelivery of business partnering and financial planning to key stakeholders.

This is a key appointment for the Finance Team and the postholder will be responsible for executive financial decision support to enable the following key strategic organisational goals:

- _Rebuild visitor numbers, and broaden how we connect with diverse local and global audiences through integrated digital and physical experiences_
- _Transform access to our collection as a public asset, and broaden its creative relevance and social impact_
- _Inspire creative confidence in all our audiences, and champion the skills needed to drive the future of the creative economy_
- _Become a more effective, sustainable, and inclusive organisation_
- _Build financial resilience to underpin our strategic objectives_

Whilst possessing a keen interest in art and design is important, your professional sector experience will not be a key factor for selection. We are seeking a brilliant Head of FP&A with commercial awareness and a passion for driving best practice at anexciting time for the organisation.

**Key Requirements**:

- Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent)
- Proven leadership (teams of a relevant scale) with a positive and proactive drive to deliver best service to stakeholders
- Proven finance business partnering, financial decision support, MI, analysis, modelling, and planning skills
- A natural communicator, credible and able to partner with executive-level stakeholders
- A genuine passion/interest in arts and design, excited to work at the V&A
