We are currently assisting a long standing independent broker in Wakefield who have a rare opportunity for a Claims Manager to lead their established team and support two Claims Handlers.

Key Duties:

- Support two Claims Handlers, ensuring work is delegated accordingly and delivered to a high standard
- Handle claims on both a delegated and nondelegated basis
- Ensure an exceptional claim service is delivered to each client
- Provide a high standard of communications between all parties and operate to agreed deadlines and timeframes
- Review and if necessary, challenge insurer decisions
- Build relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues
- Ensure that the Commercial Manager is fully aware of all issues or complaints
- Ensure that full compliance of our standards is maintained at all times
- Customer records and claims files kept up to date and accurate
- Claims resolved, paid and closed within reasonable timescales

**Experience**:

- Some leadership experience is desired, however not essential, so would suit those wanting to step up
- Providing specialist advice relating to commercial insurance claims
Ideally have dealt with Property, Liability and Motor losses
- Ideally qualified to a minimum of Cert CII
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to gather and analyse information from the customer
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to both customers and insurers
