**HIGHWAYS CONTRACTS INSPECTOR - NORTHAMPTONSHIRE - 3 MONTH CONTRACT - £30/HR UMBRELLA (INSIDE IR35)**

ARM are working with a public sector organisation in Northamptonshire to find a Highways Inspector with contracts experience, specifically on NEC4 Highways Term Services Contract.

**About You**:
You will be experienced in Highways Contracts, specifically this could include:

- Good understanding of English local authorities' statutory Highways Duties
- Good understanding of the performance and commercial considerations in larger service contracts, ideally NEC4 TSC contracts or similar
- Knowledge of current and emerging highways maintenance practices
- Understanding of Social Value and Climate Change and Environment expectations

**What you will be doing**:
You will be involved in all aspects of contract delivery. You will be working closely with the highway delivery teams, term service contractors and other stakeholders to undertake a wide range of Contract inspection activities. This can include:

- Support the Highway Delivery Manager in undertaking a range of contract inspection activities.
- Work with colleagues to ensure the effective management of the Highway Services Contract whilst ensuring a co-ordinated client approach.
- Develop a broad understanding of the requirements of the contract in order to understand and gain assurance of contract delivery.
- Develop positive working relationships with the contractor to resolve issues as they arise in the interests of the residents and communities of North Northamptonshire.
- Support the Highway Delivery Manager to provide advice and information to stakeholders to ensure that informed decisions are made.
- Liaise with colleagues in Highways and Transport - and in other Place and Economy Services as appropriate - regarding Highways issues relevant to the Contract and to the wider needs and ambitions of the Council.

This is a 3 month contract based in Northamptonshire, paying up to £30/hr Umbrella (Inside IR35).

For this role, you must already be eligible to work in the UK without restriction.
