**ROLE: COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER**

**SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 PLUS BENEFITS**

Are you a Commercial Account Handler with a background in property insurance? Would you be interested in working for a highly regarded insurance brokerage, committed to the long-term development of its staff?

NJR Recruitment are delighted to bring a brand-new opportunity to market for a Commercial Account Handler to join one of our key clients, a fiercely independent commercial insurance brokerage, based out of offices in the heart of Manchester.

As Account Handler you will be working as part of a specialist team, being responsible for maintaining an insurance portfolio whilst providing a high quality, professional and efficient service.

Our client has committed itself to ensuring the long-term development of its staff, with excellent training provided. An extremely competitive salary and benefits package is on offer the right individual, along with a hybrid-working model.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working closely with clients to truly understand their requirements, ensuring a quality service is delivered and the requisite level of cover is provided.
- Managing the renewal process and handling mid-term adjustments.
- Ensuring information is recorded correctly on Acturis.
- Liaising with partner brokers to ensure that insurance placements are coordinated.
- Delivering a first-class service at all times.

Skills and experience required:

- You will need to have proven experience and extensive knowledge within the insurance industry in a commercial capacity.
- Experience within property insurance is essential.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to develop and maintain solid working relationships with clients and insurers.
- Possess outstanding sector and industry knowledge.
- Experience of using Acturis would be advantageous.
