**Support Worker - Bromsgrove**

**20 hours per week. Shifts will mainly cover from 4pm - 10pm Monday to Friday and between 7am and 10pm Weekends.**

We have a part time position available for you if you would like to make a difference and work in a job where no two days are the same We are looking for like minded Support Workers with a passion for making a difference and providing creative and tailored support to our clients.

**We are currently looking for people to join our Support Living Community Team in the Bromsgrove (B61) area where we support people in small bungalows / houses over 24 hours a day including sleep ins.**

Amber Support are a local company with an outstanding reputation working across Worcestershire, supporting adults who may have learning disabilities, complex needs and autism. The people we support are at the heart of everything that we do and you will have the satisfaction of delivering a tailored package of meaningful support. You can expect every day to be rewarding and different as you will be supporting clients both male and female with day to day living, leisure and social activities, holidays, sports, assisting with personal care, budgeting, shopping, and cooking.

We have a part time position available based on **20 hours per week**. We are happy to discuss hours with you however you must be able to work within the service hours outlined.

**What we are looking for from our Support Workers**:

- Because You Can attitude - this is something we believe in passionately and unpins everything that we do and we are looking for like minded people to join the team
- You must be able to work shifts that could vary between4pm - 10pm Monday to Friday and between 7am and 10pm weekends.
- You will also be able take part in a rota of sleep-ins (approx 1 per week).
- You don't have to have experience in this type of role although it would be an advantage if you have work experience in a caring environment
- You don't need to drive but this would be an advantage as some of our client have their own cars which can be sued as part of their support.
- Ideally, you will live in a commutable location to our services

**Our Rewards Package**:

- **Excellent hourly rates** - £9.86 per hour and our sleep in rate is £80.19 per sleep in (based on a 9 hours sleep in shift). Please note: the annual salary advertised is based on full time hours and one sleep per week.
- **Tailored hours to support you** with full time and part time shifts. Weekend working is a requirement and some services may require you to do sleep in shifts but we are flexible regarding weekly contracted hours within the service hours and we can discuss this with you by working with our dedicated rota co-ordinator
- **Always there **with 24/7 Support from the operations team including Directors. You will also have access to the Head Office support and the HR team where we work with an open door policy
- **Care Certificate induction training and mentoring all paid **at your normal pay rate to ensure you have a seamless transfer into your new role that is tailored to your experience and knowledge
- **Ongoing client focused specialist training** **and career development** all fully paid including the opportunity to study for a Diploma in Health & Social Care. You can also expect to have regular refresher training to keep your skills up to date
- **Annual Leave** 28 days per annum pro rata and we ensure that you take your holidays
