Dental Hygienist/therapist

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Administer fluoride treatments
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow infection control protocols

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental prosthetics
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for diagnosing dental conditions

**Requirements**:

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Scotland
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to educate patients on oral health practices

Pay: £22.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 30 per week
