**Job Overview**:
The Financial Administrator will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the accounts department, ensuring it operates in an effective and timely manner whilst maintaining accurate records

**Key Responsibilities**

Generating the daily revenue reporting and distributing it among all department heads

Purchase ledger management including processing invoices, payments and managing PO's, posting Journals. accruals & prepayments

Liaising with suppliers, external and internal stakeholders, dealing with any queries that may arise

Balance Sheet reconciliations for all control accounts including VAT and PAYE

Reconcile cash tin/till etc to from Xero to actual cash held

Post from Hotel booking system and reconcile expected income to actual income and report variances

Populating of monthly P&L by department breakdown.

Responsibility for ensuring HMRC records are up to date

Bank Reconciliation to statement balances at month end

To ensure any payroll data is passed to the payroll administrator on a timely basis

Forecasting sales, profit and loss and cash flow during the year

Make recommendations for payment to director to an agreed schedule

Maintain quarterly books and assist Fawcett’s with VAT return as required

Assist with ad hoc queries and reports as required from time to time

**Skiils/Experience**

Minimum 1 year’s experience in Finance

Confident individual with exceptional organisational and administrative skills.

Must possess strong IT and Excel skills

Exceptional attention to detail and the passion to deliver professional accurate reporting

Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.

Experience of using accounting software Xero and Sage

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
