Pilot Programmes Advisor
**About the role**:The Advisor for Pilot Programmes will report to the Innovation Lead and be responsible for delivering/facilitating innovative ways of helping participants to succeed. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Advisor to use their skills to make a real difference and contribute to the decision-making process on how we want to shape our programmes for the future.
A pilot programme is a smaller-scale programme designed to either test the viability of an idea or to allow us to create expertise on how we can work more successfully with specific (or key) groups of participants in various geographies. The pilot(s) could consist of participant/learners from current live programmes, or new referrals sourced externally.
These programmes allow us to support participants & learners in new pioneering ways and could also support us with future bid writing content and potentially influence funders/commissioners on new options and ways to fill gaps in current provision. With this in mind, knowing how to capture, gather and present evidence of programme delivery will be an imperative part of the role.
Initially, this role will work on a ‘Supported Employment’ programme to support participants into a suitable employment opportunity. This programme heavily focuses on building relationships with local employers to create a pathway into work for individuals with health conditions and disabilities. The role will source sustainable employment opportunities for participants as well as promoting collaborative working with employers to support both their needs and the needs of the participant.
Subsequent pilot programmes could include (although not limited to) prison leavers, ESOL, lower-level education returners etc. The post holder will therefore need to have a flexible approach to a fast-paced role with regular changing work commitments.
