We are looking to recruit qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join our busy and expanding IAPT service; individuals that strive to innovate and want to make a real difference through the work they do. This vacancy is available to start assoon as possible, working on a sessional basis with a view to extend.

The PWP in post will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing general assessments and treatments to a clinical caseload with mild mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.

Due to the current outbreak of Covid-19, all interventions will be carried out remotely, and measures have been put in place to enable a safe working space for the successful practitioner.

You must have the below requirements to work as a PWP:

- Hold a relevant PWP qualification
- Excellent working knowledge of IAPT Step 2 treatment protocols.
- High standards in written and oral communication
- Spoken and written fluency in English.
- Previous experience in IAPT is beneficial.
- Spoken in a second language is beneficial.
- Experience in group work, or willingness to learn, would be an advantage.

Job Duties:

- Work within the IAPT services and follow the procedures and guidelines of the service.
- Deliver assessments and short-term interventions for working-age clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression based on a cognitive behavioural model under the NICE guidelines (Step 2).
- Provide services to people with different cultures and backgrounds.
- Commit to one to two days a week on a freelance basis.
- Working from home.
