Graphic Designer

**Purpose of the role**:
We are seeking a new graphic designer to join our team. You will be working on a wide variety of projects across digital and offline media, promoting our brands and product lines. To be successful in this position you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering creative ideas, and be able to produce a high standard of work, demonstrating amazing attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Planning concepts according to the brief set, by studying relevant information and materials.
- Illustrating concepts concerning art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
- Preparing finished art by using and operating necessary software and equipment.
- Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and other departments as necessary.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Communicating with clients regarding layout and design.
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product sheets, catalogues, company logos, brochures, websites and social media.
- Reviewing current designs and suggesting improvements where necessary
- To undertake any reasonable additional tasks or duties, as asked of you, from time to time.
- Ensure that you understand and are familiar with your responsibilities and duties as contained in the Company’s Health & Safety Procedures.

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**:

- Degree or equivalent in graphic design or a related field.
- Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, and Illustrator.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Experience with computer-aided design.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
