We have an exciting opportunity for a **Opiate **Recovery Worker** who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Our Lewisham service thrives as a dynamic and collaborative team, featuring dedicated staff including a service manager, consultant psychiatrists and psychologists, medical professionals, caring nurses, empathetic recovery staff, dedicated volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.

**Hours**: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: £27,44952 - £31,529.41

**Allowance**: Inner London Weighting £4,072.06

**Responsibilities**:
**About us**:
Our service provides recovery support for individuals who use our services. Our goal is to empower individuals, providing holistic support and treatment tailored to their needs. We offer both one-to-one and group sessions, along with medical treatments.

**The Role**:
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our services in Lewisham. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting individuals from the moment they join our service and guiding them throughout their journey of treatment and recovery.
- Offering screening, assessment, and personalized recovery planning, along with onward referrals for further support.
- Collaborating with each individual to facilitate social (re)integration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives, emphasising recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
- Crafting custom workshops designed to meet the unique needs of our service users, covering topics like anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, and more.

**About You**:
To thrive in this role, we are looking for individuals who:

- Possess an understanding of substance misuse and relevant experience in this field or a related area.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with proficient IT skills.
- Are supportive team players with robust interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
