**Job overview**:
We are recruiting for passionate, driven and experienced Senior HR Advisor's to work within our busy Employee Relations Team.

Accountable to the HR Manager and responsible for mentoring the HR Advisors, this pivotal role will see you provide an efficient, responsive and professional employee relations service working inclusively with key stakeholders and building collaborative partnerships. The role specifically focuses on delivery employee relations services including supporting with sickness management, disciplinary (including MHPS), grievance and harassment investigations. In addition you will be responsible for developing and delivering training to up-skill managers whilst challenging and delivering innovative new ways of working within a Just and Learning Culture.

This is not just an opportunity for someone who 'knows their stuff'. It is about 'how you do what you do with what you know' to positively impact staff at all levels with a great working environment. It is about providing a credible HR service that is rich in values, integrity and the desire to deliver excellence.

You will be an experienced HR practitioner and someone who is driven to innovate within their role with a commitment to people before process.

This is a hybrid role. Cross site working across all hospitals under UHB is an essential requirement of this role.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
To carry a case load of investigations into employment matters including disciplinary, grievance and harassment issues and support managers in performance management issues and long term sickness cases at formal reviews and beyond

To ensure the provision of advice to all managers within the Trust regarding all aspects of employment policy and procedure for all categories of staff, as well as associated post-employment issues.

To support the HR Manager on meeting the Trust's key performance indicators

Level 7 CIPD or post grad diploma in HRM or Level 5 CIPD and equivalent experience at post grad level

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

Evidence of continuous professional development

**Experience**:

Experience of recent generalist HR experience in a large, complex organisation including complex case work including sickness managements and investigations

Working in partnership with Trade unions.

Experience of developing and delivering training interventions to staff and managers

Experience of preparing, analysing and presenting reports.
