**Role Description**

To ensure that all deliveries of incoming goods are recorded and documented to allow full traceability. To ensure items are inspected to check they conform to specification and are correct for use. To achieve success in this position it is critical that the RMI makes Pilgrims Food Masters Purpose Vision & Values real within the factory, practicing & cascading the principles.

**Key Accountabilities**

Complete the basic assessment of all incoming raw materials, (including packaging) versus appropriate specification, to the agreed procedures within 2 hours of delivery. Based on the risk assessment provided, test the required raw materials versus specification and quality attributes on day of delivery.
- Record all assessments, testing and traceability information on the appropriate paperwork, to ensure due diligence.

Where materials fail to meet agreed specifications, ensure the quarantine of all affected materials, and notify the SQM for decision.

Following decision ensure that all material is correctly labelled as available for use or rejection.

**Skills and Experience**
- Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills Proficiency and fluency of English language Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyze key process data.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools.
- The ability to identify and actively plan improvements.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment.
- Able to meet deadlines Analytical skills good relationship building
