Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the skills and dedication to provide essential support and guidance as a Learning Mentor? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team from September 2023 or earlier

**Role Overview**:
As a Learning Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEN in their educational journey. Working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies, you will provide valuable guidance and mentorship to students, enabling them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for promoting inclusion, positive behaviour, and emotional well-being among the students, helping them to develop the necessary skills for lifelong learning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual and small group support to students with SEN, addressing their specific learning needs and helping them to achieve educational objectives.
- Implement strategies to support emotional well-being and social development, including promoting positive behaviour and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students.
- Support the integration of students with SEN into mainstream classes and extracurricular activities.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience working with SEN, preferably in a school or similar setting.
- Knowledge of different learning difficulties and strategies to support students with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students facing challenges.
