The Sales Associate is a pivitol role within the sales team as they are at the forefront of B2B customer interactions and are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through delivering an excellent sales service. This is a varied and multi skilled role including sales order administration and post sale customer support. They are also the driving force behind inbound sales opportunities from both new and existing clients therefore directly impact the business' B2B sales growth and success.
- Duties include:

- Proactively manage customer orders from receipt to completion whilst delivering exceptional customer service, creating upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Resolving queries & handling complaints - involving liaison with other departments within the wider business, third party couriers and the sales management team where appropriate.
- Cultivate & maintain productive and trusted long-term relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders across all levels.
- Qualify, develop & convert inbound sales opportunities from both new and existing customers to achieve KPI goals.
- Monitor customer behaviour to identify trends, problems/risks, and most importantly additional sales opportunities - reporting back to the appropriate colleagues where necessary.
- Develop and maintain a deep knowledge and thorough understanding of the full product portfolio and range of services - keeping abreast of any specific product promotions or campaigns.
- Sales order processing and data entry via Sage200 and other in-house systems with absolute attention to detail in terms of quality control and accuracy of data input.
- Maintain internal records including detailed CRM history of interactions with existing and prospective clients.
- Produce, analyse, and submit reports to the wider sales team or to specified key retail contacts.
- Supporting various sales and retail specific projects. Including working on behalf of major UK brands such as IKEA, Primark & John Lewis, ensuring the brand is always impeccably represented.
- Co-ordinating the on-boarding of new SaaS clients, meticulously executing internal procedures.
- Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, addressing all immediate concerns without compromising day-to-day operational needs.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the employer.
