**The team you’ll work with**:

As the Head of Business Finance & Analytics, you will report directly into the Chief Financial Officer, HSBC Innovation Banking UK (“CFO”). You will be a key member of the CFO’s Leadership Team, providing wide ranging support. The HSBC Innovation Banking (HINV) finance team covers financial reporting, regulatory reporting, Treasury and commercial performance. The CFO is member of the Board. You will work alongside senior leaders at HINV as we continue to expand and develop.

**The value you’ll add**
Heading up the Business Finance & Analytics team, you will be accountable for, and the catalyst for driving commercial and financial performance of the Innovation banking business across UK and Israel. You will be a key member of the Finance Leadership team, act as strategic business partner to the UK CEO & business leaders, and act as the deputy to the CFO.
You will also lead and nurture a high performing business finance team responsible for key activities such as: MI for Exec/Board level oversight, financial planning & forecasting, Cost & FTE management.

**What you can expect to be doing**:
Drive performance and effectively challenge the UK CEO, Exco and Heads of Business and broader set of stakeholders.
Drive Business Strategy supported by financial planning and insightful analytics, bringing all parts of the Bank together.

Proactively identify and manage strategic and business risks and work with teams across finance and the bank to mitigate these and optimise performance.

Lead Planning, Forecasting and Stress Testing Cycles for HINV booked and managed clients.
Requirements

**Requirements**:
Qualified Accountant with experience both in large and smaller/high-growth organisations

Demonstrable experience in implementing new and innovative financial analytics and performance reporting

Experience of operating in a senior business finance role, with strong core finance skills - recent working experience/appreciation of key controls, processes.

Ability to engage, challenge and influence Senior Leadership

Prior experience of providing strong leadership and development to a small/mid-size team
