**About the role**:
We are seeking a conservator to appoint to a permanent full-time lectureship to work with existing colleagues in contributing to and developing research and research-led teaching in conservation practice. The post will be available from 1 April 2024.

The post-holder will be expected to make a significant contribution to post-graduate teaching on the MA in Principles of Conservation, the MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums, and other Institute programmes, including academic and practical teaching, supervising dissertations, tutoring internships, and organising fieldwork. In addition, they will be expected to supervise PhD students, and to undertake relevant administrative activities.

**About you**:

- Interventive conservation practice: with expertise in the practical conservation treatment of heritage objects.
- Conservation management: including preventive conservation, care of collections, risk management and disaster preparedness.
