Night Operative/warehouse Supervisor

The job is monday to saturday 0000 to 0900.

To process wholesale orders on a daily basis for Premier Fruits (Covent Garden) Limited. Working closely with the traders to ensure that orders are processed correctly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering a first class service to all of our customers, external and internal;
- Checking and picking of customers orders to ensure that the customer receives the correct product;
- Assisting with the management of the computerised stock control system;
- Assisting with stock rotation;
- Monitoring stock levels and expired stock;
- Receiving and booking in deliveries;
- Ensuring the general tidiness of the unit;
- Assisting with stock takes;
- Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood.

**Essential Requirements**:

- IT literate;
- Highly organised with good prioritisation skills;
- Reliable, conscientious and dedicated;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a busy, demanding environment, whilst adhering to stringent deadlines;
- Flexible team player, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative;
- Pride in one’s work and the ability to see a job through to the end;
- Self-starter with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude;
- Customer focused with good communication skills - both verbal and written;
- Good problem solving skills, with the ability to respond in a timely fashion;
- Ability to share knowledge and give support to colleagues;
- Numerate;
- Ability to frequently bend, lift and carry packages/parcels throughout the day.

**Highly Desirable**:

- Experience gained within a Distribution/Wholesale department or similar;
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
