NHS Professionals is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to lead our doctors vetting and compliance team with a strong emphasis on providing comprehensive support and guidance to the team.
As the Vetting and Compliance Team Leader in our Doctors team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and productivity of the vetting process while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for team welfare will drive the success of our vetting operations.
**Skills/Responsibilities**:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the vetting and compliance team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end vetting and compliance process, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within established SLAs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance processes for greater efficiency.
- Implement and maintain high-quality standards for vetting and compliance procedures, ensuring that all documentation, records, and reports are accurate and thorough.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the quality of work and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Facilitate training sessions for new team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Provide ongoing training to existing team members to keep them updated on industry best practices and company policies.
- Act as a point of contact for any escalated issues or conflicts within the team.
- Address and resolve disputes in a timely and empathetic manner, promoting a harmonious and collaborative working environment.
- Maintain clear and open communication channels with team members, management, and other departments. Ensure that updates, changes, and important information are effectively communicated to the team and wider Doctors team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback and recognition for achievements.
- Collaborate with HR to address performance concerns and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Utilise data and metrics to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate insightful reports to showcase team achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as recruitment, on site team, various other internal teams, to ensure a seamless workflow and the highest standard of service delivery.
