**Part Time Finance Officer | Not for Profit | Fully Remote | £25,000 - £30,000 FTE**

Macildowie are currently looking for a Finance Officer for a long standing Not for Profit who provide qualifications, awards and services to young people that help them in education, employment and provide wider life skills. They make a real difference tothousands of children's lives in the UK from all backgrounds.

The role is based in Milton Keynes but is **fully working from home**, it gives a fantastic environment and work life balance. It is a great time to join the team with exciting plans for the coming years. If you are interested in this pleaseopportunity, don't hesitate to get in touch.

The role is paying a £25,000 - 30,000 p/a FTE, this is based on a 25 hour week. You will be reporting in to a Head of Financial Control & Customer Support and you will help support and manage 1 Finance Assistant.

**The Role**
- Support with preparation of monthly journals: accruals and prepayments, monitor balancing accounts, payroll analysis
- Processing of credit card statements
- Maintenance of the FA register with IT Lead
- Provide project team support
- Manage database controls e.g. new product set up - Periodic database report maintenance
- Educate colleagues on Finance policies/procedures, ensuring they have an understanding of how they can assist with the retrieval of cash and how cash management sits as a vital part of a successful organisation

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Experience working with Debit and Credit
- Experience supporting with month end
- Strong Finance Background
