**We are delighted to be supporting a Newcastle Head Quartered company in their recruitment for a Case Advisor to join their Human resources team supporting in employee relations.**

While valuing your existing skills and experience the role will provide the opportunity for an individual with an agile approach, and mind-set, to develop your career. As part of your advisory role, you will spot trends and make recommendations to the wider HR Team and key stakeholders.

You will proactively ensure that line managers work within the defined policy and procedures. You will feed back on processes, procedures, continuous improvement and ‘lessons learned’ to the HR Team in order to improve our delivery of stakeholder support.

You will share knowledge with the team on individual case management to ensure best practice is developed and used. Building effective working relationships with your stakeholders across the business
- Both verbally and in written format, you will assist managers across the business aiding them in their understanding and implementation of our policies in relation to your employment case portfolio.
- You will assist managers in organising informal and formal case meeting, where appropriate including providing information and HR advice from initiation to resolution, escalating cases, where appropriate.
- Collaborating with managers you will collate the required documentation to formulate hearing packs or signpost managers to the correct templates and policies.
- Maintaining up to date records and suggesting improvements, you will be proactive in your approach, presenting options for the manager to enact, providing feedback where applicable and appropriate.
- You will embrace technology, utilising it to track progress, record and maintain accurate case records which are accessible to those involved in the case. You will be responsible for providing and removing access as required during a case.
- Where there are points and elements of cases which increase risk to the individual and business, you will discuss appropriate action/escalate with the HR Business Partner and/or Employee Relations Specialist providing early insight, offering options, and articulating your thought process to build on your skill set.
- Responsible for briefing the HR team on the status of cases and approach being taken.
- Supporting the wider community, you will provide valuable feedback and insight from your case work to enrich the data used in workshops, training, coaching and guidance to support development and growth.

Who you are:

- You have previous experience working in an HR role advising on the management of employment cases, with the ability to interpret our policies.
- A strong collaborator, taking an initiative, self-motivated and work well both individually and within teams, connecting with the business, keeping stakeholders up to date, informed, whilst always maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence - able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Brilliant time management, prioritisation, and organisation skills. Going the extra mile to support our managers, outside of the box thinking when providing advice and options.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with previous experience of producing professional, succinct, and robust letters, meeting notes, case documentation and reports to be used in formal meetings. Attention to detail is paramount.
- The ability to interpret data, utilise dashboards to identify trends, maintaining and monitoring HR systems, ensuring accuracy of data.
- A can-do attitude with a passion for learning.
- Creative and energetic, able to challenge the status quo and to influence and coach.
- Able to operate effectively as a member of a wider HR function, building strong and productive relationships within the HR function and across the organisation.
- CIPD level 3 qualified & above or working towards or have demonstrable experience.

**Benefits**:

- This is a full-time position based at our Newcastle Office with hybrid working (3 days office - 2 days from home)
- Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
