Up to £ 25,563 per annum

Tops Days Nursery in Pokesdown is seeking a Room Manager to join our team, working on a full-time capacity. This is situated in the heart of Boscombe.
The 135 place nursery is surrounded by local attractions such as Boscombe beach with beautiful pier, Kings Parks Athletic Stadium and Vitality Stadium - home of AFCB
Inside the nursery, our friendly team create magical, engaging environments for children between 3 months to school age learn, play and grow. We run an amazing extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and much more
Driving is not a requirement for this role, as we have everything right on our door step Tops Pokesdown is locate on the main bus route and just a short walk away from the local train station.

**Room Manager Duties**:
- Support and promote children’s early education and development
- Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
- You must be brave and innovative. Don't follow the crowd, do what makes you proud.
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment
- You will preferably have a little quirkiness - If a child request that you be an astronaut navigating a rocketship full of dinosaurs through out of space, you will be the best astronaut you can be
- Develop effective and informed practice
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Must not be afraid to dance in the rain, make mud pies, build sandcastles in the snow and explore the local environment.
- Work in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and carers or other professionals
- Be passioned about sustainability and caring for the environment
