Industria personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Despatch Operative to join their growing team on a temp-perm basis based in Hinckley

They are looking for an enthusiastic hard working individual to join their friendly team as a Despatch Operative your duties will include:

- The prime responsibility is to make sure all units are cleaned and wrapped ready for safe transportation, ready for deadlines
- Report any quality concerns and liaise with Production Management and QA team to ensure their high quality is maintained
- Attend and participate in weekly transport meetings with Contracts and Sales teams
- Liaise with their recognised transport companies to achieve the most cost effective delivery of their products, batching deliveries together wherever possible
- Loading and unloading deliveries as and when required, liaising with other departments when lifting equipment is necessary
- Maintaining all despatch paperwork and liaising with the quality team for completed check sheets
- Maintaining accurate stock levels of all materials required within the despatch department
- Ensure company health and safety policies and procedures are followed, taking corrective action as and when required
- Ensure effective liaison with your line Manager is maintained at all times, ensuring that they are promptly informed of any issues that affect or could have an impact on deliveries to their customers
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained and carried out to the required standard

Working Monday - Friday 7:30-15:30

Hourly Rate: £9.82 rising to £10.42 from April

- Professional, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving skills, proactive and adaptable
- High level of attention to detail
- Computer literacy essential

No Qualifications required for this role, experience in a similar role is highly desired but not essential as full training will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £9.82-£10.42 per hour
