**About Our Client**:
Nearly 500 employees they are one of the leaders of their field in the South of England. They have grown year on year and offer long term growth opportunities to their employees.
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Processing and coding of purchase invoices and employee expenses in the accounting system
- Ensuring 3 way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts and purchase invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing and processing monthly and weekly payment runs
- Ensuring all transactions are approved in line with company policy
- Dealing with and resolving supplier queries
- Providing regular information for cash flow forecasting and ad hoc reporting Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team by identifying and implementing improved processes and procedures.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Effective communicator and team player at all levels, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to effectively utilise a range of software and in particular excel (including pivots and vlookups).
