Enrych is a national charity that has been supporting adults living with disabilities for over 35 years, providing individuals with a range of services to enable them to live independently and enjoy life to the full. In addition to providing one-to-one support through our support workers, we also offer a number of community-based activities to reduce isolation and loneliness as well as personalised services to help individuals achieve their goals, eg digital and employability support. We are looking for caring individuals, with a passion to support and motivate others - experience supporting individuals with disabilities would be an advantage, however this isn't essential and full training will be provided.
We are recruiting for part time support workers around Leicester. A full UK drivers licence and use of a car is required for this post due to the nature of the role.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Support individuals to access the local community;
- Support with shopping and appointments;
- Support with correspondence and household tasks including cleaning tasks with clients.
- Support with meal planning and meal prep where required;
- Supporting individuals hobbies and interests within the local community;
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
**Salary**: Up to £11.00 per hour
