**This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including**:

- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- A strong understanding of at least one business function in the firm, as well as a broader understanding of other areas.
- Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Add customer context, analyze data to detect false positives, develop trends and data models
- SME in creating, developing and running reports in Splunk
- Expert in creating custom dashboards and alerts
- Has ability to find, use, and showcase data to drive a business case
- Provide log, network, device analysis
- Validate log sources and indexed data, search through data to optimize search criteria
- Documenting all actions taken as a part of investigations and working closely with other teams support the incident management process

**Position Requirements**
- Relevant experience with Splunk and familiar with uberAgent Background in Desktop Support or Desktop Engineering
- Technical background in Window Operating Systems, macOS, Linux, etc. commonly deployed in enterprise networks
- A problem solving mindset, strong logical/critical thinking abilities for analyzing events
- Ability to influence through teamwork and collaboration
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills & relationship building skills
- Evidence of consistently excelling at what you do
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Extreme attention to detail & time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude
- Preferred experience in incident and problem management
