We have an exciting opportunity for a**Personal Assistant**to join the Markel team based here in Leeds. Markel International are a global insurance. Tax and legal business which underwrites a diverse portfolio of property, casualty and marineinsurance and reinsurance business on a world-wide basis. We are a division of the Markel Corporation, which markets and underwrites speciality insurance products and programmes to a variety of niche markets.

The Personal Assistant job will involve looking after three of our divisional Directors day to day, including diary management, travel and administrative support.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Diary management of senior people within the team/division, including arranging all aspects of internal and external meetings as required
- Document production in line with Markel branding and to the given deadlines - PowerPoint presentations
- General administration for the team/division, including phone calls, filing, scanning, opening and distributing post, attendance records, archive management and staff expenses
- Arranging presentations, events, away days - liaising with relevant departments and external contacts/companies to arrange as necessary

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience working as a PA/EA and dealing with senior leadership teams
- Good standard of education
- Excellent MS Office skills including PowerPoint & Excel
- The ability to multi task
- The ability to work with confidential information - trustworthy and discreet
- Experience of working within a corporate environment and any knowledge of the insurance industry would be advantageous
