An excellent opportunity for a motivated, organised and excellent communicator to join a busy operations team as part of a friendly and growing Stoke on Trent based service business.

We are a well-established company providing a complete building services and facilities management solution to the commercial, industrial and private sectors within Stoke on Trent Staffordshire and across the UK.

Working under the supervision of the Operations Director, as part of a small friendly operations team, you will be involved in all aspects of the operations function, with a particular focus on coordinating the work schedules of our in-house engineers and subcontractor partners.

Employing the right person is extremely important to us;
The role will be extremely varied and as well as scheduling, it will involve updating records on our job management system.

You will have a good understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Speaking confidently on the phone should be second nature.

Knowledge of invoicing would be beneficial.

Experience / background in the service industry and or NHS would be an advantage.

Responsibilities;
- Updating records on our job management software and elsewhere as required
- Processing timesheets and other relevant documentation
- Preparing and following up quotations for a variety of maintenance, repair and installation works in co-operation with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and other members of the team
- Creating and updating of purchase orders
- Coordinating with the accounts team and other internal team members as required
- Investigate stock discrepancies and perform stock checks / adjustments
- Scanning, filing and archiving documents
- Completing other tasks as required to support the operations function and the broader business

Permanent Full time (37.5hrs) - Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Fridays 8.30am to 3pm
- Salary in the region of £25,000pa (depending on experience)
