**Some of our events include**:

- The Muddy Dog Challenge Series: the UK’s first obstacle race for dogs and their owners on behalf of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
- Trek26: a Series of 13 mile and 26 mile treks for the Alzheimer’s Society across iconic locations in the UK
- Run The River: a 5km and 10km timed run along the River Thames supporting Teach First
- Walk for Parkinson’s: a series of walk for those living with Parkinson’s
- Trek24: 24 mile and 24km treks raising money for East Anglian Air Ambulance’s 24/7 campaign.
- Only the Brave: a 6mile and 10mile challenge muddy obstacle course on behalf of East Anglian Air Ambulance

**The Role**
- The role will be hybrid, with in-person days in London once every week or two weeks.
- There will be the opportunity to work at several events across the event season, gaining invaluable experience in the full end to end process of event planning and delivery.
- There will be the opportunity to work across multiple varied events for different charity clients, including trek, running, walking and obstacle racing.
- The role holder must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger events team.

**Responsibilities**
- Sourcing, booking and managing suppliers as required by Event Managers
- Supporting with vehicle and equipment logistics across the event portfolio
- Liaising with Freelance Staff attending events
- Assisting with creating and compiling event Health & Safety documents
- Assisting with creating and compiling event Operations documents
- Notifying and liaising with stakeholders and landowners associated with events.
- Sourcing venues for events
- Assisting with warehouse management.
- Keeping budgets updated as required to support Event Managers
- Contributing to Company creative ideation and innovation sessions
- Assisting with setting up our events on-site and assisting with their management on event day.
- Contributing towards improving our social and environmental impact, to continually improve on our performance as a Certified B Corp.
- Being an advocate of our Company values and mission, ensuring our suppliers, staff, clients and volunteers are inspired and motivated to join us in our efforts.

**Knowledge, Skills & Personal Characteristics**

We choose our team based on shared values, personality and passion rather than just experience.

**Skills**
- At least one years’ experience in Event Management (preferred but not essential)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full UK Driver’s Licence (preferred)

- Have an energetic and lively personality, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Have a genuine passion for the outdoors and to be physically active
- Be passionate about making a positive social and environmental impact.
- Be a perfectionist who strives to exceed expectations with events
- Have strong interpersonal skills with a wide variety of audiences
- Be able to go the extra mile and be willing to get stuck in to all tasks
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently
