We are looking for a motivated Toolmaker to join a market leading manufacturer of building products. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspectsof planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The positionwill appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

**Role Description**
- To be capable of using all Tool room machinery where required.
- To respond to Tooling related breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible
- To manufacture tooling and ancillary components etc either from engineering drawings or the copying of existing parts
- To perform tasks for the repair/modification of all production tooling including extrusion and injection mould tools
- To trouble shoot when responding to production problems and breakdowns
- To carry out repairs, modification, and servicing of injection mould tools.
- To carry tasks out to high degree of workmanship in an environment which strives for continuous improvement
- To always keep the department clean and tidy reporting any hazards to the Engineering Manager
- To be responsible for your own safety by performing tasks in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices. (Health and Safety Charter of Rules)
