**Job Title **Maintenance Assistant

**Salary: £25,000 (negotiable dependant on experience)**

**Location **Cardiff Head Office & various locations throughout South Wales, South West and The Wirral
(Domino’s, GDK Franchise, Amorino and various properties)

**Hours of work **40 hours per week
Monday - Friday, with a requirement to work flexibly, evenings and weekends as necessary
**Responsible to **N. Jarjis

**Contractual Status ** Permanent, full time
- Subject to 6 month probationary period

**Role Summary **To ensure an effective and efficient operation of all maintenance work associated with all our stores and properties

- Maintenance Manager

**Key Responsibilities, ** Carry out maintenance duties as and when required with or without supervision.
**Tasks and Activities ** Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking taps and toilets.
- Inspecting control panels and electrical wiring to detect any issues that requires immediate attention.
- Promptly responding to requests to emergency repairs including out of hours.
- To ensure work spaces are kept clean, clear and free of obstruction.
- To provide maintenance support where tasks include basic electrical, painting, plumbing, barriers, carpentry, doors, and concrete repairs within the various properties.
- Reporting to supervisor or manager incident or accident
- Completing minor repair works, which includes repairing doors, locks, door frames and handles as well as replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches and window glass.
- Maintaining all outdoor areas, which entails mowing, trimming and edging of lawns.
- To provide reactive and proactive support to specific issues and ensure communication with maintenance manager.

**Key ** Good knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical wiring.
**Requirements ** Proven general maintenance experience.
- The ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Valid UK driving license is essential.
- Work in accordance with all group policies and procedures.
- An understanding of individual responsibility in complying with the H & S policies and arrangements.
