The opportunity:
Linc Cymru are offering the opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Facilities Assistant, based in Ty CochNursing Home, Cardiff.

The Maintenance / Handyperson will be responsible for liaising with other professional contractors as needed for larger maintenance projects.

Applicants should have a background in general maintenance andpossess a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.Previous experience in a healthcare setting or nursing home is preferred but notrequired.
- To support the Facilities Department in the management of the building and facilities.
- Be observant for Health & Safety issues and ensure that they are rectified, made safe and reported to management.
- Carrying out day-to-day duties according to daily schedules, including but not limited to; maintaining and keeping of lawns, hedges, shrubbery,and plants. Support with maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of external areas and other related general maintenance.
- Being proactive by noticing deficiencies in the sites facilities and either rectifying if within capabilities or bringing the defect to the attention of the Facilities Manager.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Home Manager that relate to maintaining the facilities in a clean, functional and aesthetically pleasing state.
