**Overview**

MPH is looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant who is highly motivated to meet challenges, self-disciplined, a good communicator, organised, proactive and a positive individual looking to develop whilst working as part of our Projects Team delivering a range of projects for our various clients on our long-term frameworks and competitive tendered projects as well as assist in tendering and clerical duties across the department.

The role involves working as part of the Projects Team carrying out the following key responsibilities:

- Day to day assistance for the rest of the Project team with clerical and administrative functions
- Developing quotations and estimates - with supervision / support from senior management
- Dealing with and managing subcontractors from procurement though to valuing theirs works and payment - with support from senior management.
- Liaison with the Client and their Representatives - with support from senior management.
- Generally working together with the MPH projects team.
- Highly motivated
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Confident IT skills; proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel
- Good communications skills, both written and verbally
- Has an active and enquiring mind with a willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Can operate with a courteous manner
- Good team player with ability to communicate to all
- Conscientious and attentive attitude to work at all times
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Basic construction experience / knowledge is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
