The Recruitment Crowd has recently partnered with a market-leading client based in the Bradford area. We are looking for experienced Payroll Advisor to join the team.

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, start times negotiable, 25 hours per week

**Pay Rate**: £39,000 to £42,000 per annum, DOE

**Location**: Bradford, BD6 (work from home also available)

**Job Type**: Permanent

**The Role**:

- Ensuring accuracy of data while processing both weekly and monthly payroll.
- Handling mileage and expenses claims for salaried staff, obtaining necessary authorization.
- Collaborating with HR to integrate personal information with Sage/PPLHR for precise processing.
- Addressing internal and external queries, offering guidance, and liaising with HMRC and other organizations, such as pension providers.
- Monitoring clock-in and clock-out times of office-based personnel, identifying lateness or insufficient hours worked, and reporting to line managers.
- Posting payroll journals for each payment run and taking primary responsibility for payroll control account reconciliation.
- Collating and providing accurate reports to key stakeholders within agreed timeframes, including absence data, attrition rates, overtime, and annual hours reports.
- Administering various programs such as Medicash, Buy/Sell Holidays, Cycle to Work, Electric Car Scheme, and AXA PPP Healthcare.
- Participating in project work, including payroll benchmarking and Gender Pay Gap Reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Essential: Minimum of 3 years of prior payroll experience.
- Desirable: CIPP qualified (or working towards) a recognized payroll qualification (e.g., CIPP).
- Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and lookups), Word, Sage, and People HR.
- Advantageous: Knowledge of reconciliations and a strong understanding of accurate management information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible approach, highly organized, and effective time management skills.
