Glebelands Out of School Care Club is a daycare of children service providing out of school care to primary aged children.

**Job description**

**As a playworker, you will be asked to carry out the following**:

- **Contribute to the planning and provision of high quality care and assist with providing safe, creative appropriate play activities which meet the needs of the children.**:

- **Maintain a high standard for health and safety ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to.**:

- **Work effectively within a team using positive communication skills with other staff, management and partner organisations.**:

- **Develop positive relationships with children providing clear communication and interaction on a daily basis.**:

- **Develop positive relationships with parent(s)/carer(s) and encourage parental involvement and support in the clubs activities.**:

- **Participate in training courses which further training & development.**:

- **Actively participate in the clubs supervision and appraisal process.**:

- **Supervise areas of play both indoors and outdoors adhering to duties given by senior staff.**:

- **Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to the protection of children.**:

- **Assist with certain Club administration on a day to day basis as directed by senior staff.**:

- **Any other duties deemed necessary by the Deputy/Supervisor, Manager or Management Committee.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: £10.67 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Childcare/Playwork: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
