Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating First Tier Tribunals Section Renewal and Hospital Manager Appeal meetings for service users, this will see you prepare and arrange paperwork to supportthe meetings.

As a Mental Health Act Administrator, you will process hearings for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Reviews, and will be responsible for notifying all parties, obtaining reports, negotiate hearing dates and venue, and providing and processingdocumentation in line with MHA Code of Practice and procedures.

**Our Medical Health Act Administrator involves**:

- Attending Managers Review Hearings in the capacity of the MHA Administrator/Clerk and ensure the review satisfies the fundamental legal requirements of fairness reasonableness and lawfulness.
- Following up MHA action points included in the Care Quality Commission reports submitted following visits to clinical areas.
- Liaise with the consultants and nursing team to update service users information regarding renewal of sections and consent to treatments.
- Provide information to service users about their access to Independent Mental Heal Advocacy Services (IMHA).

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- Liaise and give advice to a wide range of people from different professions
- Experience within a similar role
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation and current case law relating to the Act.
