Liverpool, United Kingdom Lifeways SIL Full time

Are you a registered mental health professional (RMN, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist)? We are looking for passionate, professional, and ambitious mental health professionals to join our brilliant team.

**Lifeways SIL provides Recovery Focussed Mental Health Supported Living nationwide. As an organisation, we want to make a lifelong positive impact on the quality of life of the people we support and to demonstrate that with the right support, more people can ‘Recover’ in the community, closer to ‘Home’ and in the ‘least restrictive environment’.**

As a member SIL’s Quality and Practice Team, you would not be expected to hold a caseload but will instead provide ‘wrap around’ support to our Liverpool schemes and the surrounding North West region, building the capacity and resilience of our teams, and ensuring and supporting the highest quality of practice across assessment, risk management, recovery interventions and support delivery.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced registered mental health professional. Working in partnership with scheme managers within our supported housing schemes, you will use your experience to influence a culture of positive risk taking and development of good practice.

You will spend most of your time working from either our service in Liverpool or the North West area (covering Morecambe to Rochdale to Warrington) with some national travel required at times. There is also opportunity for some home-based working.
- We are particularly keen to hear from you if you have experience of:

- Working as a care coordinator within mental health services
- Working in a local authority mental health service
- Working in a mental health hospital setting and have a robust understanding of the complexities of community-based support (this might include forensic, acute, rehabilitation, prison and criminal justice systems settings or similar)
- Delivering positive and proactive support approaches where people use substances and have mental health problems
- Supporting colleagues in reducing the risks of secondary trauma, particularly in the context of working with people who harm themselves

Further benefits include:

- Competitive salary
- 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays
- Access to NEST pension scheme
- Professional registration support
- Professionally supportive team and employer
- Group Company discount scheme
- Free car parking
- Employee assistance programme

Please also take a few minutes to see the videos in these links to see how we support people:
SIL are a forward thinking, innovative organisation who are leading the way in supporting the NHS & local authority partners in driving change. Our goal is to bring innovation to generate improved outcomes for people with complex mental health needs, personality disorder and co-morbid substance misuse and forensic histories.

We work in partnership with the NHS and local authorities across the country to support the discharge of people from low, medium and locked rehab services to recovery focussed community services in a unique partnership with other housing and development organisations.

We now provide over 300 self-contained flats spread across the country with an ambitious growth model which will see SIL establish itself as the leading provider of complex mental health services in the community.
