**About the role**

Working Friday to Monday, 12 hour shift pattern (including breaks), you will be leading our weekend operation. The main responsibility of this role will be to oversee the operation during the weekend.

You will be responsible for:

- Developing and positively nurturing the relationships with existing customers to maximise customer satisfaction and grow existing business, especially those of our retail partners.
- Co-ordinating all North of Scotland Transport including trunking from Glasgow, Inverness and the Western Isles.
- Providing out of hours support to colleagues and customers.
- Meticulous monitoring of consignments from collection through to delivery.
- Ensuring Health & Safety, Environmental and Operator’s License compliance, while delivering best in class customer service.
- Contributing to all facets of vehicle maintenance including vehicle rotation, preventive maintenance scheduling and fleet availability/scheduling along with the Compliance Team.
- Ensuring drivers hours (including agency staff) are accurately monitored & recorded.
- Highlighting commercial opportunities to senior management as they arise. Flexibility to cover holiday periods throughout the year.
