We have a new role for a **Senior Finance Project Lead **on a full-time 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to and supporting the Trading Partner Finance ICT Director, the **Senior Finance Project Lead **will lead specific workstreams within the key Intercompany Improvement Programme and provide oversight, in a matrix environment, across Programme wide deliverables. In addition, while supporting the TPF ICT Director, this position will manage a range of ad-hoc requests, including activities & projects in respect of broader business objectives.

On a daily basis, the **Senior Finance Project Lead**, will be expected to react rapidly to emerging issues that require swift resolution to keep the supply chain moving, whilst ensuring compliance with global trade, financial, legal & fiscal requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Bringing bold, innovative vision to design improvements fit for purpose in an FMCG
- Sourcing & using data effectively to build & manage workstream deliverables in an agile way
- Ensuring resource is secured & allocated effectively to drive project deliverables
- Working closely with TPF GPO Project Manager to maintain Programme governance
- Managing & mitigating Programme & workstream level risks
- Staying connected inside and outside of Programme to understand interdependencies and regularly review & revise programme phasing / scope
- Providing forecasts against budgeted cost and tracking Programme return on investment
- Updating peers, senior leaders, other forums regularly on Programme status
- Landing improvements effectively into global BAU teams e.g. with appropriate process documentation & training
- Ensuring collaborative working across Global Finance Services, TPF and other Haleon teams, always avoiding siloed working
- Always striving to simplify messaging about Haleon’s Trading Partner operating model, Intercompany processes and the Intercompany Profit Tracking (ICT) system
- Building a wide network of stakeholders across Finance and non-Finance teams, managing escalations and ensuring feedback is gathered regularly
- Continuously identifying & driving improvements in end-to-end processes, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness appropriate for an FMCG company e.g. workflow tools, increased automation, continuous accounting
- Building sustainable processes using robust governance, escalation routes, clear RACIs and regularly maintained documentation (e.g. SOPs, policies, learning plans)
- Leading regular 2-way communications with global Finance & non-Finance teams to cascade information / instructions and increase wider understanding of Intercompany systems & processes
- Ensuring controls & processes, including Sox, operate in compliance with the Group Internal Control Framework or other policies / compliance requirements e.g. GxP
- Working closely with the TPF Global Process Ownership (GPO) team to continuously improve the systems & process, including resolving functionality and data issues.
- On a daily basis you are expected to react rapidly to emerging issues that require swift resolution to keep the supply chain moving, whilst ensuring compliance with global trade, financial, legal & fiscal requirements.

This role either directly and / or indirectly manages direct reports and teams - While managing people the below is expected (not exhaustive):

- Act as coach and mentor to the team.
- Develop individuals and manage key talent and ensuring no drop-in service as staff move on
- Provide regular, quality feedback that helps team members learn and grow their capability and career
- Understand what support team members need in order to be truly empowered and energized
- Champion processes that ensure the quality of the talent pipeline in the organization
