Night Porter

Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Night Porter to join our friendly team at The Royal Hotel.

As a Night Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Hours:
Shift pattern 4 nights on 4 nights off on a rolling rota, shifts will be 22:30 - 08:30.

**Duties**:

- Fire walks throughout the night, making sure corridors and fire exits are clear, front doors locked
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture
- Move linen to the linen stores on different floors
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as door handles and handrails
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces
- Respond promptly to guest requests for assistance
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Clean down and set up Coffee Shop

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as we cater to an international clientele
- Basic phone etiquette skills for effective communication with guests and colleagues
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

**Salary**: £23,795.20-£26,000.00 per year
