**Regulatory Analytics Strategy Lead**

As a Barclays Regulatory Analytics Strategy Lead, you will facilitate the delivery of high quality data insights, utilising a range of business intelligence utilities and analytics capabilities to ensure comprehensive, timely and accurate operational oversight for operational teams, senior leadership, service buyers, audit activity and regulators. As part of the Business Insights and Analytics team providing a dedicated data analytics resource to Wholesale Onboarding and Financial Crime Operations.

**Working Flexibly**

**What will you be doing?**:

- Developing and implementing strategies for analysing, managing and reporting data, ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all relevant regulations
- Ensuring that the organization is utilising data effectively to drive business decisions
- Working closely with other department heads to identify opportunities to use data to drive business decisions and develop strategies to take advantage of opportunities
- Providing regular reports to the senior leadership team on the status of data analytics efforts
- Staying up to date on industry best practices and trends in data analytics and ensuring that the organization is incorporating these into its strategies
- Staying up to date on changes to relevant regulations and ensuring that the organisation is in compliance with these changes
- Understanding Barclays Group processes and policies to ensure adherence, completing appropriate data reconciliation to demonstrate adherence to controls

**What we’re looking for**:

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to use data to drive business decisions and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Leadership experience in a data and analytics focused environment

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Familiarity with industry best practices and trends in data analytics
- Degree or record of accomplishment in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related scientific disciplines
- Have previously worked in an environment that has enabled them to gain a broad understanding of Financial Services
