**A bit about the role...**:
Working in a small team with the Senior Information Security Officer, the Information Security Officer will play an essential part to ensure Information Security Management System and its controls are implemented and remain effective within Homes England. This is paramount to help deliver the Vision, Strategy and, Transformation within a secure environment.

We're committed to maintain our current iso 27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management Systems you will assist to consult with key stakeholders across the agency on how these can be met.

**A bit about you**:
Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders and provide assurance of effective controls to iso 27001:2013 information security standards you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

You have awareness of Information Security Risk analysis and management and able to perform internal iso 27001:2013 compliance and security audits and produce reports.

You will be comfortable supporting the Senior Information Security Officer with complex technical issues, aiming to assist to resolve non-conformities and identify any weaknesses in iso 27001:2013 controls.

As an experienced Information Security professional, you will understand how to manage your own workload and demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way. You are resilient and comfortable managing and communicating with stakeholders across the business.

**Essential Skills**
- Able to perform and report internal iso27001:2013 Compliance and Security audits.
- Have knowledge of Information Security controls and iso 27001:2013 certification external audits
- Experience of Information Security Risk analysis and management
- Information Security assurance experience including security incident, operational and service improvement within iso 27001 and or ITIL frameworks
- Working knowledge of Information Security controls within Data Centre environments and Cloud Service Providers of SaaS/PaaS/IaaS.

**Desirable skills**
- Experience of creating information security policies and aligning to Gov standards.
- Awareness of Government Security Principles and codes of practice to support the Information Security of Homes England as an Arm’s Length Government Body.
