Job Title: Group QA & Compliance Officer
Reporting to: Group QA, RA & Compliance Executive
Place of Work: Supermax Healthcare Ltd, Unit 12-16 Titan Drive, Fengate, Peterborough, PE1 5XN
Working hours: Monday-Friday 8:45-17:15 (with 45mins for lunch)
Level of responsibility:
Compliance Officer supports the Group QA/RA & Compliance Executive, and the Group QA, RA & Technical Manager on all aspects of business compliance.
Purpose of Job:
The purpose is to take a pivotal role in the Compliance functions for the company (as detailed below). The general purpose is to support the QA, RA & Compliance Executive and Departmental Manager by helping to drive the business compliance of QA, Regulatory, H&S, Social & Ethical and Environmental Standards.
Typical Areas of Responsibility:
1. To promote a strong QA, Health and Safety, Regulatory, Environmental and Ethical culture across the business.
2. Maintenance & review of Quality Management Systems (QMS) including Policies, Procedures and Processes.
3. Conduct Audits, presenting findings and promoting resolution of issues & Non-Conformities (NC).
4. Resolution of Non-Conformities, complaints and quality issues via systems and reporting on its efficacy, including introducing processes to ensure improvement and reduction in Non-Conformity and complaint levels (Route Cause
Analysis).
5. To maintain an effective Goods In and Goods Out system, with product testing, results presentation, with a right first time approach.
6. Investigation and report near misses, accidents & incidents to allow lessons to be learned. Keep up to date records of all reportable accidents and incidents.
7. Manage any tasks, projects or improvement plans given to a successful outcome.
8. Take ownership of any projects and duties for the business, ensuring business compliance and highlighting business risk.

We are looking for someone with experience in QA or QC, with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a willingness to adapt, learn and develop new skills. The role requires a completer finisher, with a level of confident decision making, and strong communication of issues within the business.
